Suffolk Punch-harvested Wood Products

Haulin’ Hoof Farm Store, a small, farm-based business in southeastern Ohio, breeds and works Suffolk Punch draft horses. Utilizing horsepower allows the family business to access trees with little disruption to the forest floor. Prioritizing the removal of trees that are dead or dying allows them to turn nature’s waste material into beautiful and sustainable products. The family’s website, haulinhooffarm.com, carries an array of wood items made from the fruits of the labor of their wonderful Suffolks. All the wood items found in their shop are milled, kiln dried, and crafted directly on the farm!

Chris and Valerie Fox, along with their three children, manage their farm’s fields and forest with the help of their Suffolk horses – an amazing, mild-tempered breed that has maintained a ‘critical’ status over the years.
