Large Fowl American Game

American Game Birds were traditionally raised for sport and cockfighting, but were also well respected for their table qualities.  They come in a wide variety of colors and males often have long tail feathers, making American Games popular as ornamental birds in some regions of the U.S.  Their numbers are dwindling, and with so much genetic diversity represented in this breed, new stewards will contribute greatly to conservation while enjoying the meat qualities of this breed.
