This isn’t exactly a “for sale” ad, but rather some information to generate interest. I live in western WI, and have been working with the San Clemente Island goat breed since 2o13. Slowly but surely I have been working on understanding and preserving a line called Tepper in the San Clemente Island goat breed. As well as working on two uncommon color variations that occur both with the Tepper line, but also just in the breed.

There is plenty of information on my website, but I am looking to work with people who may be interested in Tepper line preservation or color work. As my website states, there is a community statement as well as contracts that allow for “free” adoption options if people agree to follow through with the contractual agreement. There are some breeders working on these projects now, but there can always be more.

I believe that creating adoption scenarios may be important not only for preservation efforts but also for growth, as they help eliminate potential barriers. This is a new idea, so please bear with me if you are interested in this option. There is quite a bit of vetting that happens, but I think that will help create a solid foundation to work from.
