About FireflyFarms

Firefly Farms is a small, family owned and family operated farm in rural North Stonington, Connecticut. We are building our future on the old Parisette Farm which had not been farmed in more than 60 years. And the lower farm which was a dairy farm years ago. All had reforested with 80 foot tall "weeds". We have undertaken pasture restoration and are making good progress. We at Firefly Farms have dedicated ourselves to humanely growing the cleanest, safest, most flavorful and most environmentally gentle beef, veal, chicken, and pork we can. We never stop trying to be just a little bit better than we were. We believe you can taste the difference. We are endorsed by the ASPCA in their Shop with your Heart program. We have passed the Humane Certification inspections with flying colors for years now. We pasture raise all of our animals to an exacting standard. Our animals do not take antibiotics or growth hormones. The food they eat is grown without the use of pesticides, synthetic fertilizers, sewage sludge, genetically modified organisms or ionizing radiation. We like our animals!
